We do your taxes. Taxes are complicated, but what we do isn’t. We know everything there is to know about taxes, so you don’t have to.
How much do you charge?
We encourage you to contact us, so that we can work together to identify your needs and determine the complexity of your return. We want you to save money just as much as you do, and you are not obligated to pay until the very end.
What is the deadline for filing taxes?
January 31st, February 28th, March 31st – deadline to electronically file information returns
March 15th – deadline for S-corporation tax returns
April 15th – deadline for filing personal and C-corporation tax returns
June 15th – extended personal tax deadline for US residents living abroad
October 15th – final tax filing deadline if you filed for an extension
Are there any benefits to filing early?
The main benefit of filing before the deadlines listed above is to get your tax refund sooner. Also, getting started earlier will definitely help reduce your stress. If the IRS finds errors, like missing information or needing further review, you have more time to solve it.
What can I do to better prepare for tax season throughout the year?
Stay organized. There is a great amount of paperwork and document handling during tax time and staying organized throughout the year could save the both of us a lot of time and headache. Keeping track of your income and expenses can help you make the most when trying to find those advantageous deductions and credits.
Also, if you have a history of paying the Feds or state governments when filing your personal income return, remember contributing to a tax-advantaged account such as a 401(k), IRA, or HSA might be a good idea.
